OJ Simpson stories still abound, after 20 years, proving they are the
ultimate racist dog whistle, and just like Pavlov's trained canines
white folks come a running with mouths salivating every time anyone
invokes Simpson's name. Never mind the fact that authorities may very
well have attempted to frame him in order to conduct that phony murder
trial, with the cooperation of his own defense attorneys. Even Johnnie Cochran is caught "slippin" when the jury was out . While angrily conducting a 352 argument discussing the prejudicial impact versus the probative value of certain evidence, in this case he was resisting the introduction of the murder photographs, Cochran apparently made a costly mistake. In paraphrasing his remarks he said to the judge, 'Your honor we don't need to show the jury those gory murder photographs after all we're not going to show them other evidence in this case'. 'We didn't and we're not going to show them the telephone records!!!'
What Cochran was undoubtedly referring to is the missing phone records that the jury was never allowed to examine. Those records were entered by behind closed door agreement on the part of attorneys and which rolled the time back an hour and a half to make time for Simpson to have committed murder. Otherwise if the original time had stood, of 11:00 PM OJ Simpson would have been climbing into the backseat of a limo to LAX to catch an 11:45 PM flight to Chicago while his wife received an 11:00 PM phone call from her mother. This evidence the record will show was sabotaged by slick acting lawyers, our sworn officers of the court, on both sides of the table.
